Flounderhead Studies

Assorted hypothetical vertebrates with flatfish-style asymmetric optical configuration, as mentioned under the Halipotamus ([link]). None of these really came together, which is why I filed them under Scraps.

From top to bottom, left to right, they are: a plesiosaur or nothosaur with a suspiciously archosaurian preorbital opening; a pterosaur, perhaps a distant relative of Dsungaripterus; two cephalopods, cuttlefish- and squid-like; a horned frog; and a gharial-like crocodilian.
