Bush katydid Scudderia furcata, is my best guess.  This gorgeous little monster buzzed me while I was down on the Columbia River at Cottonwood Beach in Washougal, WA, today.  Took me a while to track him/her down, but I ended up with close to 100 shots of the beast--plz see
