Description

Experimenting with axonometric projections, in this case a dimetric projection. I made up a grid to serve as a construction template, but I still found it surprisingly difficult to get everything to match up and the forms to mesh the way I envisioned. I've had in mind for quite a while now this idea of labyrinthine "temples" composed of stacked and interlocking cubes, almost like pyrite crystals, so I might try it again with traditional perspective techniques.
